Sign Language

I got a book from the library that has  how to do sign language in it, so if you want to have fun with me, at least learn the alphabet, so we can have a secret code..... (Sweet!)

WYSO Concert

Hey everyone! My WYSO concert is on November 18, so if you are planning to come (or just really want to, but your parents haven't really said yes...) that's when it is. I'm not sure what time though.....

Music

WYSO (Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra) started on the 8th, and is a lot of fun!!! The video is wyso a few years ago, but we're doing the same song this year. For violin, I got a new teacher a while ago, and she's a little strict..... but I like her!PIano too, I just got  a new teacher three weeks ago, and she lives less than ten minutes from our house!!! She's an older lady, but a very good player and teacher.

School

School started on the 4th, and has been going pretty good. It's been kinda crazy actually..... we decided not to do a co-op, but now we're doing like a small co-op with just one other family. They only have 3 boys... no girls!! But their Mom is really nice, and she likes to do girl stuff. I feel bad for her because she really wants a daughter..... and I can't agree more! Who wouldn't want a daughter?!?!?! School is actually kinda fun, because I'm doing more reading and writing, and some home ec too. My math program's fun, but kinda hard.... oh well.

Mt. Olympus

We actually already went this summer, but tomorow we're going back to Mt. Olympus in the Dells!It's so much fun and now we can get tickets for free! on their website, so we might have some friends go, but it'd have to be short (REALLY SHORT!)  notice! the tickets a for free waterpark, and you can pay 15.00 for the rides and I did that last time, but I decided not to this time, because my back really hurt from the rollercoasters!

B-day party!

SAD....

It's so sad! Summer's almost done already! :( I had a fun summer this year, having friends over, but it's sad that it's done. (Alright..... I admit, I'm excited for school.....) it just went really fast!

Olympics

I'm so sad! I was SO hoping that Jordan Weiber was gonna win the gold for women's gymnastics... but last night she just didn't quite make it! I almost cried when I saw her crying... It's absolutely crazy that they only let two people from each country in! But, I do know that she's really good because she got gold last year in the world championships for gymnastics........ (:D)

friends and baseball

Last week and this week we've had Milwaukee friends up, and we had a blast!  We still have a busy summer though....... anyway, this morning we had to go Preston's base ball tournament, and it was So hot outside! He ended up losing after 2 games, so then we left(THANKFULLY! :D -no offense, Preston-) BUT tomorow we have to survive through a Brewers game!(I don't think I will!) well, we'll see how that goes........

VBS

This week at our church we had VBS (Vacation Bible School). The theme was bugs....... but I survived! Right now we have 3 boys from church over! AND NO GIRLS!!! NOT FAIR...... but anyway one friend for Addison, two for Preston(and sorta Colton) and they were playing Nerf... and Addison & his friend are doing something or another on Addison's commputer. Now Preston and his friends are playing "Army". . .

Today after church this morning, we walked for our church in a parade- and it was REALLY REALLY HOT! I was SO thirst by the time we got back! but at least it was kinda fun......

School's out!

I finally finished History yesterday! yay! End of school....... July 7uth.......

I'm finally gonna be done with school! YAY! History always seems to take a LONG time....... but I'm gonna finish this week! (finally!)

Camp Chetek

Sorry I didn't blog last week! I was at Camp Chetek! It was my first year there, and it was really cool!(espesially since our team won! :D) While I was there, I decided to read my Bible more. We had lots of fun, and Mom said we'll probably go there for family camp next year! (YAY!)

Hey ya'll! I'm Katrina, I'm 12 years old, and about 6 months ago we moved to Mauston, WI. I just started this new blog because my last one didn't work right, so I'm hoping this one does! I would preffer to live more in the city, but obviosly from my blog title, we live out in what I like to call "Nowhere". We used to live in the suburbs of Milwaukee, the biggest city in the whole state....... so it's been a big change! I will post more later....we're going to leave and sit at a booth and hand out popcorn and bible tracts. Bye!
